Half-day training occurs in an interactive, engaging classroom environment. The outcome of this training is acquiring the knowledge and skills to gain an awareness of asbestos in its environment.
The Confined Space Infrastructure Industry course is available online or delivered in the classroom by one of our experienced tutors, with on-job evidence required. We ensure our training meets specific learning and industry needs of students in a safe and supported environment.
This is a hands-on practical course where learners will be physically testing and using their breathing apparatus. Learners will go through a practical session where they will be required to complete scenarios using their BA.
Our expert training delivers a practical, interactive course (performing gas testing) with a range of gas testing equipment. This course is intended for people working as boiler operators and energy and chemical process operators in an energy and chemical plant.
This course is primarily for personnel whose duties involve fire and rescue response in the workplace and will also be relevant to other learners who anticipate the need to use hand-held fire extinguishers in industrial or domestic situations.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site, and explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.
If you completed your hazard identification and risk assessment training 2 years or more ago it is recommended that you complete a refresher programme. We will ensure you are up to date with current best practices and can apply correct techniques.
Besafe Training provides Permit Issuer training, delivered to unit standard 17590 using the Permit to Work system. This provides you with training to the highest standard and meets the requirements set within the Permit to Work Manual as well as prepares you for general permit to work systems.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: explain why workplace accidents need to be reported and investigated; explain the concepts of multiple causation and root-cause analysis; detail an incident investigation process using a hypothetical incident.
The course will provide you with the knowledge and hands on experience to ensure that you understand your responsibilities and have the skills to safely operate the Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP).
