This course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills of adopting different techniques to identify hazards, evaluate and control risks at workplaces.
Accidents do not just happen - they are a result of serious flaws in safety management that have been neglected and insufficiently dealt with. When an industrial accident occurs, not only the victims but their families, companies and management suffer as well.
This course will teach participants the good and bad ergonomic practices at their workplaces. Good ergonomic practices cannot be ignored as chronic symptoms on the body of the worker may developed over time which will cause inconvenience and even inability for the body to function normally.
This course will teach participants on how to effectively carry out safety inspections at their workplaces. WSH legislations will also be shared with the participants to understand the various WSH requirements that have to be complied at their workplaces.
Participants will be given a basic understanding of ISO 45001 / SS 651 / SS 507 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 requirements and the benefits they will receive following their implementation. They will learn about how the legal and social obligations all organisations have towards QEHS issues.
The safety hazards of working cannot be ignored. All of us are always exposed to such hazards as there is always a chance of falling, whether we are working on ground-level, below ground-level, or above ground-level.
This course is designed to enhance safety awareness amongst users who are subject to chemical handling within the nature of their jobs.
This course is catered to enhance safety awareness of those working in confined spaces. A confined space is known as an enclosure with limited openings for entrances or exits.
The three main forms of electrical hazards are fires, explosions and contact with exposed live parts. These are most commonly due to poor electrical installations and static electricity. Many serious and even fatal accidents involving electrical shocks and burns are reported every year.
This course equips participants with basic first aid knowledge and emphasises on the do(s) and don't(s) of treating victims before a qualified medical team arrives on scene.
