This degree integrates core elements of the economics and accountancy degrees. It combines principles such as macro and micro-economics, with the standards associated with financial and management accounting.

A BSc Economics degree allows students to analyse in-depth how economies function (macroeconomics) and how individuals make decisions (microeconomics).

Finance is about making and managing money. It can involve investing in the stock market, trading in currencies and derivatives, or making lending decisions in banks.

The programme provides students with an understanding of both the theoretical framework and practical skills necessary to work in a global financial environment.
