Our aim is to focus on the technique side of dance, whilst still being able to dance to the latest music and choreography. At the start of the class warm up, strength and flexibility are to be the focus. Corner work is a huge component of our jazz classes as it helps build strength and technique.
We at Carisma Dance & Fitness want Tap classes to be interesting, innovative, technically challenging and fun.
The class focuses on self expression and is a combination of jazz dance, classical dance, flexibility and core strength.
Students will learn to sing live and dance and also have components of acting in their delivery. Classic musicals and also new and modern musicals will be used throughout the year and teachers will also focus on how to "audition" for a theatre show.
At Hip Hop classes we strive to give students the latest choreography to the latest releases in music, whilst providing fitness, strength and fun!
Learn the basics of Mambo, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Samba and Salsa. Swing your hips have a great time and get fit whilst enjoying the music and rhythms.
