Martin School Of Dance offers a total of 18 courses.
Tap classes provide an excellent way to further your child’s dance education after two or three years of Combination Dance classes. Particular emphasis is placed on tap technique with instruction on musicality and rhythms included.
Danced to percussive music, this dance form teaches freedom of movement and expression. Classes begin at age 8. These classes are only offered to students in the Competitive Program.
The class works on singing and acting technique and choreographs it with dance steps. Performance and competition is at the discretion of the teacher. Students will be placed in classes based on dance experience and age. You must be registered in Jazz to take this class.
This class is a fun-filled, dance-focused fitness class! Come out to enhance your agility, coordination, strength and conditioning!
Yoga Stretch is to help the dancers work on their flexibility, and to improve their range of motion for all disciplines. Students will be lead through a yoga style stretch class. This class is also great for decompressing from the week and working on the student’s healthy mind.
Jumps & Turns is a great way to continue a student’s training. This class focuses on jumping and turning technique, and will introduce new ‘tricks’ to the students.Â
Studio 53 classes offer a way to continue your training after graduation. Whether you are a recent graduate, or have a few more years of life experience, any former dancers are welcome, and encouraged to continue dancing through this program.
An excellent foundation for any student. This dance style follows the technique of the Royal Academy of Dance and is the basis for all dance forms. Martin School of Dance follows both the Graded Syllabus and for the more serious student, the Vocational Graded Syllabus of the RAD.
