Violins are a must have in any orchestra. Using only 4 strings and a bow, a violin can create beautiful music, from the famous Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, to the chilling Mussorgsky’s Night on the Bare Mountain.

Our singing lessons focus on a wide range of styles We enjoy working with a variety of singers at Southampton Arts Academy. Our dedicated singing tutors have experience in teaching a variety of styles.

We offer drumming lessons for anyone, whether you want to learn how to read drumming theory or if you want to learn for fun. We have a range of teaching resources to suit your level and age, including an electric drum kit.

Whether you want to learn the standard flute or give the piccolo a go, we can offer the space and support needed to learn this amazing instrument. Our dedicated flute tutors have taught hundreds of students and have experience in teaching a variety of styles.

We have a range of studio spaces at the Academy to help teach the clarinet in a quiet and relaxing environment. To teach the clarinet, we use a range of teaching resources to help you create the different moods of this instrument.

Develop your creative skills with our painting courses in Southampton. Our dedicated art tutors have experience teaching many students.

Our dedicated photography tutor has experience teaching many students.We offer a free taster lesson to all new students and the the opportunity to come in to practice with our facilities during the week for all students.
