Learn how to sew in a day! We’ll cover basic sewing and machine techniques in this one-day workshop and you’ll take away a lined, patchwork tote bag. All materials provided but bring lunch and your machine* (or arrange to borrow one of ours).

Learn the basics of knitting in this six hour class over three sessions - casting on, knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing and casting off. Bring a 50gm ball of double knitting (8 ply) cotton yarn and 4mm knitting needles.

Choose a design from our selection of The Stitchsmith’s modern NZ-inspired range and learn basic embroidery stitches that will set you up for all your future projects. Pattern included - hoop and embroidery threads available from the shop.

In this ever-popular class, professional seamstress Maria will teach the techniques of fitting a dress bodice to your (or someone else’s) body shape. Bring a tape measure, pen and paper and your lunch.
