This two day programme outlines the requirements of the Confined Space regulations (UK – 1997), (NI -1999), (Republic of Ireland – 2001). It outlines the implications of the Approved Code of Practice (Acop) when working in a confined space environment.

This unit is about being present as a member of a team for rescue and recovery of casualties should emergency arise. It is a dedicated team and may be an in-house team, specialist contractors or the emergency services by prior arrangement.

This Awareness course is designed for the delegates to acquire basic Confined Space knowledge through classroom-based training only.
