An OSHA-Compliant Trainer Certification Course for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (Aerial Boom Lifts and Scissor Lifts).

At the end of this course the end-user should be familiar with MEWP’s, their basic structural components, basic function, potential hazards while operating, and how to control those hazards.

This course provides basic operator training for working with Type 3, Group B Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) as outlined in CSA B354.7:17.

As the operator of a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), you have sole responsibility for carrying out tasks safely and efficiently.

The primary objective of this aerial lifts operator training program is to provide you with the knowledge and skill required to demonstrate safe, competent operation of the equipment addressed.

The goal of this course is to enable learners to identify the basic types of aerial and scissor lifts and the hazards associated with their use, as well as their inspection criteria, and safe work practices associated with aerial lift operation.
