Our courses provide candidates with the knowledge and confidence to operate abrasive wheels safely and effectively, saving their employer time and money.

Dale Valley Training offer training for all of the various types of 180° excavators above and below 5 tonnes and 360° excavators above and below 10 tonnes.  Each excavator category/type requires a separate qualification.

Dale Valley Training offer training for all of the various types of dumper with a choice of qualifications from HSE recognised accreditation bodies.  Each dumper category/type requires a separate qualification.

Our courses provide candidates with the knowledge and confidence to operate fork lift trucks safely and effectively, saving their employer time and money.

Dale Valley Training offer training for all types of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPs).  Each type requires a separate qualification. Our courses provide candidates with the knowledge and confidence to operate MEWPS safely.

Our 1-day Vehicle Banksman course is suitable for candidates who wish to take on the responsibilities of directing vehicles move safely around their work place or site.

Our Slinger/Signaller course is suitable for candidates who wish to take on the responsibilities of supervising loading or unloading using lifting appliances or lifting equipment.

This course is designed to provide candidates with a greater awareness of the inherent dangers of working at height using work equipment such as ladders or mobile scaffold towers.

Working in partnership with Award Health & Safety Training, our instructor is an approved IATP instructor and this course complies with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006; ACOP (L143) Regulation 10 Paragraphs 126 and 127 for Asbestos Awareness training. 

Our course explains the problems associated with manual handling and demonstrates the best practice in dealing with them.  Candidates will be asked to take part in the practical lifting and handling session.
