COURSES OFFERED BY DESIGN FOR HEALTH TRAINING CENTER

This 16-hour course is individually designed to meet the needs of a facility's maintenance staff as they engage in routine facility maintenance that may require incidental disturbance of asbestos containing material.

This 40-hour course is based upon the requirements of OSHA and Cal-OSHA. It is designed for the individuals that are involved with the cleanup of a hazardous waste site.

This course is required yearly to maintain certification as a Hazardous Waste Operations Worker. The course is a review of important concepts presented in the Initial 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Course.

This program is designed to introduce entry-level construction workers to information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to identify, abate, and prevent job-related hazards on a construction site.
