Understand the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace.Understand how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances in the workplace.

The purpose of this qualification is to develop Learners’ awareness of fire safety

The course covers regulations, preparation, storage, infections, cross contamination, reporting, PPE, date marks, reporting illness and basic first aid in the kitchen. 

The course aims are to give an understanding of the importance of risk assessment and current applicable legislation.
