Poland has a population of about 40 million, but with increasingly wide-ranging Polish communities throughout Europe and around the world, Polish is fast becoming an important and useful international language. It is also the second most-spoken Slavic language, after Russian.

This semester the Language Centre will be offering over 80 classes in 14 different languages. Classes range from Beginners to Post A level and are available in Polish. This semester we will have both online and in person teaching. 

This 20 week course will introduce some of the basic structures of the language through topics related to social and everyday life in the country/countries where it is spoken. The focus is on listening, speaking and reading simple materials that introduce basic grammatical structures.

Polish courses are offered at all levels from complete beginners to Very Advanced (Levels A1 to C2) and are delivered by qualified and experienced Polish mother-tongue teachers.

Polish is the official language of Poland, which has a population of 39 million people. There are big Polish-speaking communities in Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Lithuania, the Ukraine, the US, Russia, and the UK.
