COURSES OFFERED BY FIRST RESPONSE FIRST AID LTD

Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first-aider in the workplace. This First aid at Work course includes the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to an extensive range of specific injuries and illnesses.

A certificated course that defines assists and instils confidence to those people who have a key role in the management of fire safety in the workplace. This course covers both emergency and none emergency issues of this vital role.

This theoretical and practical course is designed to train key members of staff who have been given responsibility by their employer to assist in the evacuation of the mobility impaired within their premises.

These qualifications have been developed to raise awareness of key food safety issues and to provide employees with an induction to food hygiene, prior to undertaking the Level 2 Award in Food Safety.

The  Level 2 Award in Principles of HACCP is designed for those working or preparing to work in food businesses where a food safety management system based on Codex HACCP principles is implemented.

Designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. This qualification can be tailored to business and individual needs to make the learning experience relevant and fit for purpose.

This new qualification is designed to help improve the workplace culture for occupational health and safety by enabling learners to understand the basic principles of risk assessment.

This qualification complements the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace by introducing candidates to the inherent risks in substances and the controls available.

Many buildings still contain asbestos; in fact any building built before the year 2000 is likely to contain it. It is legal requirement that all who may come across asbestos in their day to day work have been provided with asbestos awareness training.

This initial course is designed in line with HSE recommendation’s to give candidates the knowledge to rethink the way they lift and handle items at work. Candidates will explore safer techniques, enabling them to understand the importance of planning the way tasks are carried out.
