The purpose of Working at Heights training is to establish threshold criteria of high quality, consistent training for Ontario workers who work at heights. This strengthens workplace safety culture, improves worker knowledge, and help reduce the number of fall-related incidents.

The purpose of this training is to provide employees with Forklift Truck operator safety training prescribed by legislation so they may obtain the ability to operate equipment in a safe, competent manner and work safely in their work environment and around other employees.

They will be able to support the workplace parties in understanding their roles as part of the Internal Responsibility System in preventing occupational injuries and illnesses.

The Occupational Health & Safety Act defines a supervisor as “a person who has charge of a workplace or authority over a worker”. With the high expectations and legal responsibilities that come with the supervisory position, supervisors must be equipped to carry out their roles.

Our program provides training prescribed by legislation that the employee may obtain the ability to operate equipment in a safe, competent manner in their work environment and around other employees.

The course content will provide workers with an understanding of the basic principles needed to operate elevating work platform equipment. Classroom training will give workers both the knowledge and the practical hands-on training they need to develop safe operating behaviors and techniques.

Our workplace integrated Confined Space Entry training program has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work in confined spaces.

This course provides supervisors with the knowledge base and tools to effectively carry out their roles as well as ensure due diligence and compliance with the OH&S Act and Regulations.
