Safety Services Manitoba and Manitoba Public Insurance work side by side to make our roads safer. This interactive classroom session covers techniques for preventing collisions aiming to remedy problems that lead to collisions and other incidents.
Scaffold use has been identified as an important tool to be used on the worksite but may have serious risks if not erected and inspected properly.
Participants are taught to identify specific health and safety hazards associated with operating man lifts.
2 Day Course for people who work in confined spaces benefit from this course as they learn the fundamentals and necessary safety precautions. Theory & Practical training
During this 2-day course, SSM’s experienced safety trainers and consultants will teach new forklift operators the theory and practical training they need to meet Manitoba regulations and CSA standards.
The course is a necessary learning topic for committee members as part of fulfilling their duties. This course will also benefit employers, supervisors of workers, and employees who may be working with the safety committee.
When workplace equipment is not properly shut down and locked out it can result in many kinds of trauma - paralysis, respiratory failure, broken bones, crushed limbs and death are all possibilities
Employees and supervisors working in situations where they are at risk for a fall, learn industry best practices and relevant legislation.
This course will go into great depth in regards to training forklift trainers to become competent instructors, teaching participants the skills required to train adult learners.
Safety Services Manitoba’s TDG training provides students with the most current legislative information including industry best practices.
