Classical ballet is the heartbeat of our dance training. It all starts here! A carefully considered programme is available from the age of three with Debut Dance, after which we follow the guidance laid down by the Royal Academy of Dance.

Tap begins at the start in our debut dance class. From age three upwards, pupils are given an initiation in rhythm and stepping in time, so that once they have graduated to the Pre Primary class they will be able to master the steps necessary for their first examination.

An initiation into modern theatre dance starts in the Primary ballet class. At Grade 1, a separate class is fully devoted to modern training and pupils typically take an exam after three terms in the class. The Jazz class is a 'let your hair down' fun class with fast amalgamations that change regularly. This non-syllabus class is available to students aged 12 upwards,
