Silver Ring Workshop is offered by Cyrilyn Silver. A step by step guide in making your own silver ring. This is a beginner workshop and is suitable for you, whether you would class yourself as being creative or not. You will produce your very own handmade silver ring and make memories to treasure.

The course is formally assessed by producing a portfolio and written assignments and there is an expectation that these are completed independently outside of taught session. This will include completing a practical portfolio and evaluating your performance.

This workshop will give an insight to knowledge and origin of Chinese characters (words). Learning to write Chinese characters the Chinese way … with brush and ink. Chinese Calligraphy famously helps students to concentrate and relaxes their minds.

Handwriting Improvement is offered by Magic Ink Handwriting. Structured course for primary & secondary school children. Proven to achieve clear & confident handwriting.

We offer intensive holiday workshops as well as weekly term lessons. Sessions involve direct work as well as demonstrations on follow-up exercises at home. Homework is set (5-10 mins per day) as regular practise is important in speeding up and achieving goals.  

This an excellent beginner project in ‘stake and strand’ technique resulting in very durable and strong structure. In this small workshop, there will be plenty of guidance and background information on this classic craft.
