The Hot Stove team is happy to announce that our monthly Dim Sum class is back! Each session will have one hands on recipe and the other tasty treats will be demonstrated.
Ring in the year of the rabbit with vegetarian momos (a Tibetan dumpling), egg rolls, and spicy mapo tofu. This class is filled with knife skills, dough making, and dumpling shaping and will be fun for novice cooks and experts alike.
Learn making your favorite dim sum dishes, Steamed buns and pot stickers. We will make Steamed buns from scratch. We will use store bought wrappers for pot stickers. Students will learn making dough for steamed buns. We use pork and beef with vegetables for the filling.

We'll make these delicious dumplings that are pan-fried until brown on three sides, then steamed in a small amount of liquid. Several different folding techniques will be taught in class! These are served with dipping sauces - and we'll make those, too!
Dumplings variations are found in all cuisines. They can be eaten as an entrée or as an appetizers. In this class we will make two different kinds of dumplings; soup dumplings and shu-mei (shrimp and pork) dumplings.
