Building Safety Group offers a total of 18 courses.
Due to the specific nature of the course, not only will general health and safety issues be covered, but there will be more emphasis placed on specific construction issues that make the industry amongst the most dangerous in which to work.
Industrial Forklift Truck Operator training can be delivered to you on your own site; you would need to supply the forklift truck and area to conduct training.
Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training would be delivered to you on your own site; you would need to supply the machine/equipment and an area to conduct training.
Vehicle Banksman/Traffic Marshall training can be delivered to you on your own site, or on one of scheduled courses at the BSG training centre. If the training is carried out at your venue an area will be needed for the vehicle to perform manoeuvres.
This course qualifies you to operate the specific type of crane for which you receive training. Operate on any site in the UK with permission of the person responsible for site H & S.
The course will study the legal obligations contained within TG20:21, BSEN12811-1 and The Work at Height Regulations 2005 covering the provision and use of scaffolding, the correct terminology and components, and the construction standards required to ensure safe places of work.
This half day course is to ensure that those attending are aware of the hazards associated with Working at Height and the legal duties placed on employers, employees, and self-employed persons.
The half-day course considers the statutory requirements for construction health and safety, how it is enforced, and your obligations as a business operating in the building industry.
