The Academy's aim is to help promote dance, fitness and health, together with helping students build confidence, self esteem and their career prospects, whilst gaining knowledge about a wide range of dance styles.

Salsa is not easily defined. What is Salsa? A sauce, a recipe, a dance? Who invented salsa? The Cubans, Puerto Ricans? Salsa is a distillation of many Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances.

Kizomba is known for having a slow, insistent, somewhat harsh yet sensuous rhythm as the result of electronic percussion. It is danced accompanied by a partner, very smoothly, slowly and sensuously, and with neither tightness nor rigidity.

Belly Dance is a Western term for a traditional Middle Eastern dance form. Some American devotees refer to it simply as "Middle Eastern Dance".

To start with, proper warm-up and stretching exercises are done so as to avoid any physical injury during the dance session and at the same time helping the kids to gain the necessary flexibility and strength.

Hip-Hop dancing refers to dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that has evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles notably - Breaking, B-boying, Locking, Popping, etc which were created in the 1970s.

BollyWood is the informal name given to the popular Mumbai-based Hindi language film industry in India. Bollywood Dancing is one of the hottest dances around! It is the foundation of every great Indian Bollywood Film.

BharatNatyam originated in southern India in the state of Tamilnadu. It started as a temple dance tradition called Dasiyattam (the dance of the maidservants) 2000 years ago and is perhaps the most advanced and evolved dance form of all the classical Indian dance forms.

Kathak is among the eight major classical dances of India and one of the most dynamic theater arts in the world. The word Kathak is derived from katha, meaning "the art of storytelling."
