COURSES OFFERED BY NEMCO (NORTH EAST MUSIC CO-OPERATIVE LTD)

Trumpet classes are offered by Nemco.Pupils may start on this instrument from year 3 or 4 but they need to be big enough to manage the instrument.

Trombone classes are offered by Nemco.Pupils may start on this instrument from year 3 or 4 but they need to be big enough to manage the instrument.

Pupils may start on acoustic or classical guitar from year 3. Guitars can be purchased from retailers in different sizes as most appropriate to the child. Pupils may also receive lessons on electric guitar and bass guitar normally after learning the acoustic / classical guitar for some time.

Pupils may start on electric keyboard from year 2. It may be more appropriate for lessons to be taken as a pair or individually but if resources allow, small group lessons are possible.

Double Bass classes are offered by Nemco.Pupils would generally move onto double bass after learning one of the other instruments of String group.
