Our EWP training facility is purpose build and designed to encourage and support all learners. The training is a combination of classroom with "real workplace" practical using industry approved equipment.

This manual handling course is designed to raise awareness of manual handling and cover concepts of reducing risk.

Trainees who attend this confined space training will be able to, in the infrastructure industry: identify the location, and work procedure to be carried out; examine an entry plan for completeness, and enter, complete work, withdraw from a confined space; and conduct a non-entry confined space.

This advanced course covers NZQA Unit Standards 23229, 15757 and 17600. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal requirements, guide you through the inspection of various fall arrest systems, ropes and knots.

This gas detection course will train to demonstrate knowledge of atmospheric testing in potentially hazardous environments; conduct atmospheric tests; and interpret and respond to atmospheric testing results.

Breathing Apparatus is provided to help you safely evacuate a confined space if the gas monitoring equipment indicates a problem with the atmosphere. It will also help sustain life if you get into difficulties whilst in a confined space, until you can be rescued by the emergency services.
