COURSES OFFERED BY WEYMOUTH COLLEGE

This course is a first stage teaching qualification, aimed at those working or wishing to work as a teacher or trainer in England. The qualification is suitable for those working in any education or learning environment and to study towards it, you need to have access to 30 hours of teaching. 

The Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning has been designed to provide learners with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school or college environments.

This qualification will help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people.

The course is a knowledge-based introduction to teaching and/or training, so is aimed at those who have no prior experience of teaching.
