The course covers all aspects relating to the basic functions needed to manage a warehouse which is contained in five study modules. To equip candidates to gain a qualification to manage a warehouse or distribution centre.
Covers production management techniques and its relationship to other business functions. Introduction of practical tools to measure performance, determine throughput, improve productivity, and optimise capacity with the aim to reduce operating cost.
Participants will continuously be assessed by means of tests and/or assignments, etc. A Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Certificate will be awarded to successful participants. The course content is benchmarked against level 5 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
