This course is designed for those individuals who will be supervising, monitoring, or entering a confined space. It is designed to bring awareness to workers of the hazards that exist when entering/exiting and working in a confined space.
This 10-hour Construction safety awareness course was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor for construction workers, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for construction activities. All attendees will become familiar with reading and using OSHA 29CFR 1926 construction standards.
Combined 8 Hour Fall Prevention and 2 Hour Drug and Alcohol course. This course, along with the 30-Hour OSHA card, is required for an individual applying for a New York City (NYC) “Worker” Site Safety Training card (SST).
This course satisfies the New York City (NYC) requirement for Fall Protection training for all workers and supervisors. This is required under Local Law 196 to obtain a Site Safety Training (SST) or Supervisor (SSST) card.
This course can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training Card. This is an awareness level training only and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.
This course is one of the pre-requisites an applicant must successfully complete before being eligible to apply for a New York City (NYC) Site Safety Manager License Examination. In addition, this course fulfills part of the training requirements for a Site Safety Coordinator.
To continue to erect or dismantle supported scaffolds over 40’ in height in New York City (NYC), an individual must successfully complete this 8-Hour Supported Scaffold refresher training course every four-years after completing the 32-Hour Supported Scaffold Course.
