For the beginner in the Make-up industry - the first step to becoming a proffessional.

If you are serious about make-up and want to become an Internationally Qualified Make-up Artist, then this make-up course is for you! During this 5 month Internationally Accredited Make-up Artistry.

This qualification and the entire fundamental, core and elective Unit Standards associated with it can be achieved by any learner through the Recognition of Prior Learning, which includes learning outcomes achieved through formal, informal and non-formal learning and work experience.

Each subject requires a formative, summative and integrated summative assessment both theoretically and practically. 

Theory lessons covering contraindications, health and safety, nail diseases and disorder, products and equipment, application techniques, client care and consultation.

Learners are required to supply their own linen i.e. 1 Flat single bed sheet, 2x Bath Sheets, 2x Bath Towels & 2x Hand Towels.

After the set lessons completed at the school, the learner is given 2 weeks in which they will complete their case studies at home on clients. After the two weeks the learner will return to the school to complete a theory and practical assessment.

Theory lessons covering contraindications, health and safety, anatomy and physiology of the hair, hot and cold wax, products, client care and consultation.
