COURSES OFFERED BY MONCRIEFF MUSIC STUDIO

Violin lessons are available for ages 5 years to 95 years. Slots for children under 12 years are generally a half-hour per week, and from ages 12 up there is a choice of 45 min or 60 min lessons at the rate of one per week. Slots for adults are more rare.

Learn to play the most beautiful instrument there is! The sound of a viola is warm and; its alto voice is between that of a violin and a cello.

Guitar lessons are available from age 7 years up. All ages are welcome. Group lesson availability depends on the number of applicants.

Vocal training is available in 1:1 lessons for all ages over 14. The technique is based on opera and musicals. Various styles such as rock and pop are dealt with as well. The student receives a solid foundation in reading music.

For people playing / singing exams, theory of music is a prerequisite for the higher levels. As a result, the Studio offers Theory of Music as a separate subject, beginning at initial grades and covering all the levels.
