Hip Hop is the latest style of street dancing, as seen in rap video clips. Routines emphasise the street style movements with an emphasis on style, creativity, body isolations and control.
Jazz uses the latest dance moves to latest music. A Jazz routine incorporates stylized dance movements and combinations, formation changes, group work, leaps and turns.
Contemporary is an extremely fluid and expressive form of modern dance. It is not associated with specific dance techniques, but rather with emotions.
Ballet focuses on the classical technique of the dancer. Ballet is the foundation of most styles of dance. Classical ballet is defined by light, elegant and precise movements. Ballet is a disciplined style of dance with classes designed to improve dancers technique.
Musical Theatre is a theatrical performance combining dancing and acting. It is not only inspired by the hit TV show Glee, but also by Broadway shows, films and musicals such as Fame, Annie, Singing in the Rain, High School Musical, Hairspray, Mumma Mia and so much more!
Lyrical routines are fluid in movement and focus on emotion that complements the musical selection. It can best be described as a combination of Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary.
Tap is an exciting form of dance in which dancers wear special shoes equipped with metal taps. Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and beats.
Acrobatics is a combination of Dancing and Gymnastics incorporating lifts, leaps and balances. We are the only qualified dance school in the region to offer this style.
Tumbling is a skills based class designed to teach the basic to advanced Acrobatic/Tumble skills. These skills can include cartwheels, handstands, round offs, back and front walkovers, ariels, back handsprings, back tucks and much more!
Street latin is a mixture of the hip hop and latin dance styles. It combines different ways of moving the body with new and inspiring rhythms and beats.Â
