COURSES OFFERED BY KIDS CAN DANCE

Any dancers that are ready for their exams will be invited to do so. Every dancer will work towards doing an exam each year however it can take a few years to develop certain acro skills so not every dancer will do an exam each year.

Acro is the fusion of dance technique and the athleticism of acrobatic/gymnastics elements. The Acrobatic Arts program emphasizes safety and learning elements correctly while gaining values such as confidence, hard work, dedication, body awareness, etc.

This is a high-energy, dynamic attitude class which develops self-expression and self-appreciation and involves precise rhythmic movements as seen in music videos.

This class involves basic steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movements. Engaging music is used to inspire and the use of props enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!  Dancers do not need to be fully potty trained to register...

This class is an adult assisted dance class involving creative movement and following instructions from a teacher.

This class is focused on technique at the barre, down the floor, and in the centre. Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles.

Class instruction from basic to advanced tap steps. Including barre work, travelling  steps and centre floor work.  

This popular class is combines the basics of Ballet & Tap. Students will learn dance terminology and basic technique.

This class will focus on the unique stylings of modern contemporary dance. Contemporary could be described as a fusion of Lyrical and Jazz dancing styles, with no limits on creativity of movement.
