Warm soup and fresh-baked bread, is there anything better on a cold day? Together we’ll make White Bean & Kale Soup with Sausage; Chickpea, Coconut & Turmeric Stew; and Potato Leek Soup.
Having good knife skills isn’t just about a prettier presentation, it’s also about being more efficient and saving time. In this class we’ll cover types of knives, sharpening, cutting techniques and even how to avoid crying while chopping an onion.
For a starter we’ll do my take on Tomato Bruschetta, main course is Spinach & Cheese Ravioli, on the side we’ll do Roasted Broccoli with Gremolata (a vibrant condiment of lemon, parsley and garlic) and end on a sweet note with Tiramisu.
Tapas are “small bites” and in this class we’ll cook up a variety of common Spanish tapas dishes. Serving tapas for a party is a lot of fun, but many tapas double as delicious dinners. Take the Tortilla de Patatas, a Spanish-style omelette with potatoes and onions, similar to a fritatta.
Yearning for a jaunt to Paris? This class can be the next-best thing. We’ll create a delicious classic French bistro menu with fabulous flavors and beautiful presentation.
Learn the secrets to making delicious pizza – both thin crust and deep dish – that’s even better than delivery! We’ll cover pizza dough, sauces, toppings, equipment and of course baking techniques.
The lovely lemon is super versatile, works great in sweet and savory dishes. Learn different techniques and recipes that showcase lemon. From the zest to the juice to whole lemons, we’ll use it all, starting with a Mixed Greens Salad with Preserved Lemon & Ginger.
Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with these favorite Mexican dishes! Quench your thirst with a Cilantro Lime Spritzer, and get the meal started with homemade Pico de Galla and Guacamole. Then it’s on to Chicken Mole Enchiladas and Mexican Tomato Rice. A Mexican feast you’re sure to enjoy – ole!
Get ready for your taste buds to be awakened by the fabulous flavors of the Middle East. We’ll start with Baba Ghanouj, a smoky roasted eggplant spread, then it’s on to Hummus, probably the most popular Middle Eastern dip.
