COURSES OFFERED BY WITS LANGUAGE SCHOOL

At Wits Language School, we teach standard isiZulu, which provides a strong basis from which to learn additional, localised vocabulary. We also cover cultural aspects  to provide a more holistic understanding of the language. 

Our part-time French courses focus on teaching you how to communicate in real-life situations. We introduce you gradually to new language and ensure that your speaking and reading skills develop through practice and reinforcement. 

At Wits Language School, we teach standard Portuguese. Standard Portuguese is understood everywhere, including Mozambique, Angola, and Brazil. Standard Portuguese also gives you a good foundation, which you can then easily supplement with additional vocabulary as required.

Learn to communicate and understand Deaf and hard of hearing people through the use of SASL.

All courses are run through an online platform, with access to an experienced TEFL trainer. Measure your own understanding of each module with self-evaluations. There are videos, quizzes, and discussions to evaluate your progress and application of the theory.
