To motivate and educate workforce of any industry to develop safety awareness for minimising accidents, it is very much essential to impart them effective-tailor made, work related training.

Compared to accidents at work place, accidents at home are increasing day by day as the use of electrical appliances has increased considerably. It is estimated that the rate of home accidents are double than Industrial accidents.

As a part of the campaign to create safety awarness .The objective of the celebration is to rededicate ourselves to the cause of safety, health and enviormental protection by observing rules, regulations and procedures to do our best.

The Council has introduced Internationally recognized Safety training course on Managing Safely of Institution Of Occupational Safety And Health (uk).GSC intends to conduct such training program regularly in future.

The department has the objective of preventing any major industrial disaster with help of disaster control plans already prepared for areas having more concentration of hazardous industries, also to promote the concept of mutual aid system which would be useful especially to small-scale industries.
