Creative Dance blends movement, music, improvisation, and basic dance steps while providing an excellent introduction for the future study of all dance techniques.

Classical ballet is the most technical of all dance styles. It develops posture, control, balance, turn-out, fluidity, alignment, strength, co-ordination and is highly recommended to help with all styles of dance.

Breakdancing includes moving the feet sideways and onto the toes, spinning on the knees, head, hands and elbows.

It fuses modern dance, jazz and ballet. It often requires excellent technique to perform, as the moves can be difficult and precise.

Hip-hop dance refers to social or choreographed dance styles primarily danced to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture.

Strong emphasis will be placed on technique, flexibility and strength.

Through percussion of the feet, tap dance teaches a sense of rhythm, timing and precision as well as aerobic activity.
