Hazard and operability analysis (HAZOP) is structured technique to analyze, examine and conduct a risk management. In particular, HAZOP is a systematic method to identify a potential hazard in the work process and determine the operability issues that may lead to unfortunate events.

This course is designed to facilitate retraining of RPO, RPS, radiation workers and any person who wish to become radiation workers using syllabus approved by the AELB.

This Process Safety Professional Course is aim to enhance knowledge on the fundamental aspect of fire and explosion hazards that provides a better understanding on how major fire and explosion events could occured at workplace.

Entry Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.

The bachelor of computer science (computer networks & security) with honours is offered on a full-time basis. The full-time programme is offered only at the utm main campus in johor bahru and is based on a 2-semester per academic session.
