EduBabe provide an excellent elderly care course whereby we teach the importance of helping the elderly from feeling isolated and depressed

This course is one day a week, usually on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, and runs for 9 weeks. This is followed by 168 hours community work at a care facility to enable each learner to gain work experience. 

This short course will equip you as a healthcare professional to assess and manage patients living with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, to improve their quality of life and to support their families – thus enhancing the quality of your services and patient relationships.

A home based carer provides supervised care and support to patients and household members in the home, in order to promote, restore and maintain a person’s comfort, function, spiritual wellbeing and physical health including care towards a dignified death.

The course is a total of 7 hours, which can be split within a two-week period. We are flexible in the sense of accommodating bookings based on your availability and the availability of our registered nurse.

Our workshops are focused on frail care institutions and will enhance the skills and knowledge of Caregivers. Small groups are welcome. We travel outside Bloemfontein for groups of 5 or more.
