COURSES OFFERED BY IFSDMS - INSTITUTE OF FIRE SAFETY & DISASTER MANAGEMENT

For personal already experienced as fire brigade members, this short course is a refresher for those who need to annual training requirements. It provides extensive and challenging flammable liquids live-fire training to fire fighters who do not need comprehensive classroom instructions.

This course builds on the skills in entry level industrial firefighter,with increasingly complex live-fire evolutions. Training focuses on live fires, tactical drill and advanced techniques in a controlled environment.

For members of industrial fire fighting, rescue and hazmat operations this course provides advanced training to hone skills and enhance team coordination.

The primary target audiences for this course are the first responders charged with response actions associated with unexpected hazardous materials releases. Students will learn and adapt the knowledge and skill requirements for effective scene and response management.

The course emphasizes: Review of basic skills and overview of confined space Rescue vs. Recovery Introduction to confined space equipment Hazard and risk analysis, vertical and horizontal rescue systems Respiratory protection patient packaging

This 14 day training program is designed to conduct training for fireman who have completed a certificate course in firemanship, on management of pump operations while working from/on fire tender.

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) course is offered by IFSDMS Institute of Fire Safety & Disaster Management. Study of B.A. Set Working of B.A. Set Identification of Different Parts Donning & Doffing Procedure, Pre Entry Test Searching Operation Procedure with guideline and personal line.

Confined Space Rescue (CSR) course is offered by IFSDMS Institute of Fire Safety & Disaster Management. Review of basic skills and overview of confined space Rescue vs. recovery Introduction to confined space equipment.

Rope Rescue Techniques (RRT) course is offered by IFSDMS Institute of Fire Safety & Disaster Management. Hardware and Software identification and construction, Rappelling and belay; pick-offs; self-rescue, Rescue knots, rigging, hauling and lowering systems, and patient packaging.

Technician and personnel and plant employees who respond to the release of hazardous materials with the purpose of stopping the release and reducing losses.
