COURSES OFFERED BY THE BEC TAYLOR SCHOOL OF MUSIC

The Bec Taylor School offers contemporary group singing classes for anyone aged 18 and above. Meeting once a week for 60 minutes.

Young children learn best through song, dance and music. At such a young age, it is madness to separate dance from music.

Lil’ Rockers is a group music class for children in Kindergarten and Year 1 that will ignite a musical passion in our little ones, giving them the fundamental musical skills needed for a life-long love of music. 

Guitar Lessons are offered by The Bec Taylor School of Music. Anyone and everyone from aged 4 and above. It’s never too late to start a musical journey!

After your first two bass lessons, you can expect to be able to two bass riffs from rock/pop songs (such as “Smoke on the Water” or “Ode to Joy”, play a scale and read basic bass tablature.

Ukulele Lessons are offered by The Bec Taylor School of Music. Anyone and everyone from aged 4 and above. It’s never too late to start a musical journey!

After your first two drum lessons, you can expect to be able to play a basic rock beat and a two-step beat, complete some basic rudiments and learn about the basic rhythm elements on hand drums.

After your first two lessons on piano, you can expect to be able to play two songs, such as “In the Jungle” or “Stay With Me” for adults and teens, or “Old MacDonald” or “Pirates of the Caribbean” for children.

In your music production lessons you’ll be guided through technology that can help take your music to the next level.
