This course covers OSHA’s Control for Hazardous Energy and Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) standards.  These procedures exist to ensure safety during equipment servicing and maintenance.

This course is for all authorized employees who service or maintain equipment, as well as equipment operators and any other affected employees who work in the area where Lockout / Tagout is being performed.

Lockout and Tagout Training is offered by Associated Builders and Contractors. The goal of our courses is to reduce workplace fatalities and injuries by teaching the application of OSHA standards in hazard recognition and prevention. We offer a variety of classes at our office.

Students will learn about the role and responsibility of the employer to develop and implement an energy control program, or lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) for the protection of workers while performing servicing and maintenance activities on machines and equipment.
