Hazardous Waste training is offered by Reliant Safety Solutions, LLC. Construction is a high-hazard industry that includes a wide range of activities involving building, repair, alteration and demolition of buildings and facilities.

This training involves the proper procedures for operating and managing hazardous waste operations.  The program is designed to meet the requirements of 40 CFR 261 and WAC 173-303 and is required annually.

This training informs employees of EPA standards (found in 40 CFR Part 262) that address on-site accumulations of hazardous waste through manifest tracking, labeling, record keeping and reporting requirements, and OSHA standards (found in 29 CFR 1910.120 (p)(7)) that address employee safety.

Hazardous Waste Management is offered to staff, faculty, and students who generate or supervise someone who generates hazardous waste. This training will cover topics including: identifying hazardous chemical waste, how to accumulate hazardous chemical waste, labeling of hazardous chemical waste.
