Dunedin School of Ballet & Dance offers a total of 8 courses.
This is a creative dance class for children who are 3 at the start of the year & a caregiver who 'dances' with them..
This class follows the RAD Pre-Primary in Dance to develop the students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression, and musicality using a range of sounds and musical styles.
These classes will cover technique, performance presentation & introduce steps outside the exam syllabi. Recommended for all students from Intermediate & up.
Students should be 8 years old before commencing Modern classes to enable them to cope with the isolations and rhythms involved.
Hip Hop is taught in the modern classes after the mid-year exams. These examinations are held early November.
A half hour class that works on flexibility, turns & leaps. This is an excellent extension class for grade 3 modern students & above.
These classes will cover technique, performance presentation & introduce steps outside the exam syllabi. Different styles are taught in the class routines.
It's time to try something a bit different & have fun. This class is aimed at adults.
