This class is compliant with 1910.252 and will teach employees how to recognize hazards that could create flammable or combustible environments. Atmospheric monitoring, correct permit writing, and the regulations for working around potentially flammable sources will all be learned.

This 1 hour class is required annually and teaches employees the basic hazards associated with Hydrogen Sulfide. Required by all operators in the Permian basin, this minimum awareness only class satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200, and Texas Railroad Commission Rule 36.

Under OSHA's Respiratory standard, employees are required to receive training in how to use, inspect, don, doff, and troubleshoot any respirator that they will be using during work to protect themselves from hazards. Satisfies requirement from OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134

H2S Awareness a summary training program on the basics of Hydrogen Sulfide Gas. It is a classroom style theory seminar to make the participant have a general awareness of the physical properties of H2S, a toxic, corrosive, flammable and explosive substance.
