Our adult classes meet once per week for 2 hour sessions. You can choose between 6, 12 and 18 week programs. Classes are all tailored to the abilities and skills of the participants. From complete beginners to advanced sewers there’s always something new to learn!
During this course, students will be introduced to sewing equipment, tools, threads, needles and sewing trims. They will learn all the basic techniques for hand sewing, machine sewing, stitches and seam finishes, and become familiar with a professional vocabulary for sewing terms and definitions.
We have classes on topics such as Beading, Outline Stitches, Knots; specialty classes; and store projects. These classes are given periodically during the year and are announced both in the store and through our weekly newsletter.
