Performing rigging operations safely is critical. Workers can be injured or killed if loads slip or rigging fails. This course covers the regulations, practices and techniques required to safely sling and rig loads.
Lockout/Tagout is the process used to keep equipment inoperable while repairs or adjustments are made. This course provides participants with an opportunity to learn and apply the regulatory requirements for lockout as outlined in occupational health and safety regulations.
his course introduces students to the regulations related to excavation and trenching; identifying possible hazards, and how to reduce risks by pre-planning.
Our Mobile Crane Operator courses, Levels 1, 2 and 3, provide the in-school technical training component of the Mobile Crane Operator apprenticeship as approved by the Skilled Trades BC and as described in the Skilled Trades BCÂ Mobile Crane Program Outline.
