LifeSaver Training offers a total of 7 courses.
The Level 3 First Aid at Work (statutory) course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the workplace for the next three years.
This half-day qualification is aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace or those who intend to move on to further fire-safety training. There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.
The Manual Handling course will help employers comply with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. It is aimed at employees who are involved in regular lifting.
The qualification needs no former knowledge of Health and Safety and is therefore ideal as part of a company health and safety induction programme, but it could also form part of ongoing refresher training designed to improve the health and safety culture in a workplace.
This course complements the Health & Safety programme and it is strongly recommended that students should already hold the certificate prior to the course.
This qualification is designed to be an introduction to the principles of Risk Assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to risk assessments and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.
This qualification focuses on the importance of food safety in the catering and hospitality sectors and provides food handlers with the knowledge of how they can contribute to product safety.
