All sessions will include the chance to review and update the PDP. Then this particular day will address general communications skills. This will include establishing the value of communication, things that go wrong, how to improve and develop communication ability.

The session will review the general issues that managers have with their own time management as well as that of staff. Consideration will be given to developing clear methods for managing own time and the time of others more effectively.

Practical tools to deal with difficult conversations in the work place. This will range from the simply awkward to full blown disciplinary situations. We will touch on elements of best practice as well as employment law requirements that need to be borne in mind.
