This abrasive wheel’s safety training course advises on precautions you can take to prevent accidents in the use of abrasive wheels, in particular injury resulting from either wheel breakage or contact with a running wheel.

The qualification is designed for those who carry out manual handling at work and provides essential information about controls and hazards.

The one-day course is based on the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations. Delegates will cover all aspects of risk assessment from hazard identification to control measures and monitoring.

The QA Level 2 Award in Working at Height (RQF) is ideal for those who work, or are aspiring to work in any type of environment that may require them to work at height, such as: building and construction, agriculture, forestry, factories, warehouses and more. 

The training provides awareness of the Hazards/Risks & Controls associated with this type of work. It also provides practical training in the Pre – Use Inspection of related equipment.

This course is for personnel that have never received any formal confined space training or who’s certificate has expired. It will enable delegates to competently enter, work in and exit from confined space areas of low risk.

This course will provide  practical skills and knowledge in the use of compressed air breathing apparatus and the requirements for working in vessels, confined spaces and industrial settings.

If you work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.

This qualification is suitable for all people and will provide an understanding of safeguarding which can be used in a workplace, activity group or any instance where a person comes into contact with children or adults at risk.
