This course is based on the ConstructSafe Foundation assessment framework. It covers the basic health and safety information expected of all those working on commercial construction sites throughout New Zealand.
The NZBA Health and Safety Representative course meets the requirements of initial training under sections 70(a) and 85(a) of the HSWA. It is designed to help you understand your role as an HSR and how to perform the functions of the role effectively.Â
The Risk Management course gives learners the confidence and knowledge required to undertake effective risk management which will reduce the chance of harm occurring - ensuring everyone gets home safe.
The Accident and Incident Investigation course is ideal for all those who are responsible for participating in the accident and incident investigation process at their workplace, including Owners, Managers, Supervisors and Team Leads.
The Fire and Emergency Warden Duties course gives learners the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out an effective fire and emergency plan. After completion of this course you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for your workplace.
The Fundamentals course is designed for people in, or moving into, leadership roles to help understand the difference between Leadership and Management, and possible issues with moving into a leadership role for the first time.
The Workplace Training and Verification course is designed to help learners understand adult learning principles and assessment best practice to be able to verify the competency of team members for specific tasks in their workplace.Â
