COURSES OFFERED BY ABC SAFETY SOLUTIONS

The Basic Firefighting course is part of the STCW program. Seafarers designated to participate in firefighting operations will be given 16 hours of training in techniques for fighting fires.

The Confined Space Rescue course is important because OSHA requires that employers who have permit spaces in their facilities in which employees will be working provide rescue and emergency services in case of an accident.

The course covers applicable legislation and regulations regarding fall arrest protection, fall protection hazard assessment, planning, and a practical component involving hands-on exercises with fall protection system equipment.

This course is designed to provide the student with the seven basic skills of patient care. Students taking this course learn the skills of patient care in the same sequence in which they are actually used.

While by law it is an employer’s responsibility to protect their employees from any workplace hazards, the aim of this course is to inform learners of the importance of PPE and encourage them to take an active interest in why PPE is necessary.

In this course you will learn how to identify asbestos, the dangers it can present, and the options you may have if you come across asbestos in your workplace.

Using simple exercises, proper lifting procedures, and having an understanding of back stress can teach employees to take care of their backs. The course helps to reinforce the safety concern for healthy and strong backs.

This course will provide the skills necessary to safely operate a variety of pedestal cranes, perform daily inspections, communicate with riggers and DSPs during lifts to ensure overall safety.
