In this class you will learn the basics of knitting - Cast On and Knit Stitch - while working towards your first project.

Building on our Beginning Knitting class, you will learn to work the purl stitch, bind off, and how to read a pattern

You will learn how to knit in the round and decrease by making a hat with knit and purl stitches

You will learn how to work basic cables by knitting the Chevron Cable Headband by Kristy Grainger

You will learn the basics of mosaic colorwork by knitting the Hashtag Cowl by Cheryl Faust

In this class you will learn the fundamentals of needlepoint - continental and basket weave stitches.

You will learn the principles of Bargello while working toward your first project. No previous needlepoint experience is required.

This is a two-session class. You will create a sampler with six squares, using a range of threads and stitch patterns. Stitch patterns include: T stitch, Double Cross, Diagonal Scotch, Horizontal Elongated Smyrna, Damask, Bargello Line.

All materials are included in the cost of the class ? You will receive a custom canvas with your initial (first or last) and in your choice of a single color family for all the elements (ex: the letter F in a mid-purple color scheme) ?
